Apple Developer ID signing and notarization are pending. This beta retains its
development signature; macOS may block the first launch as unverified.

Requires an Apple silicon Mac, macOS 14 or later, and a compatible camera.
Intel Macs and Windows are not included in this beta download.

INSTALL
1. Open the disk image and drag Zone into Applications. If you use the ZIP,
   extract it and drag Zone.app from the Zone Beta folder into Applications.
2. Open Zone. If macOS says the developer cannot be verified or Apple cannot
   check the app, review the download source before deciding whether to open it.
   If you choose to proceed, Apple's supported per-app process is System Settings
   > Privacy & Security > Open Anyway, after first trying to open Zone.
3. This creates an exception for this app. Do not disable Gatekeeper or other
   system protections. If macOS reports malware or a damaged app, stop and
   contact arun@gramercyos.com instead.

START TRACKING
1. Open Posture and turn Camera on. Allow macOS camera access when prompted.
2. Choose your camera. Keep it fixed with your eyes, nose and chin in view.
3. Sit at a comfortable height and choose Set my height. Hold still during
   capture. Tracking starts once your height is saved.
4. Adjust the yellow and red levels, or use Forgiveness in Settings.

Green keeps your screen clear. Yellow and red bring in the Side tide effect.
Sustained red shows a focus card when Red alert is enabled. Returning to green
clears the effects immediately. Settings also has Red alert delay and Effect
strength. Progress shows tracked time and scores; paused and missing-face time
are excluded.

Close the controls to keep tracking in the menu bar. Click the Zone icon to
return. Choose Quit app in Settings or Quit in the icon's right-click menu to
exit. Turn Camera off to release the camera without quitting. Ordinary launches
start with Camera off. There is no start-at-login item or automatic downloader.

UPDATE / REMOVE
Quit Zone before replacing it with a newer download. This beta does not update
itself. To uninstall, quit Zone and move the app from Applications to Trash.
Local settings/history are preserved; see PRIVACY.md to remove them too.
