# Zone Mac beta privacy

Zone processes camera frames on your Mac. It does not record or save camera
images or video, use the microphone, upload face data, or send app analytics.
Tracking uses Apple's on-device Vision framework.

Zone saves your camera selection, calibration, reminder settings and tracked
zone durations locally. Camera-off, paused and missing-face time is excluded
from scoring. Closing the controls keeps tracking running in the menu bar.
Turn Camera off or quit Zone to release the camera.

Settings/history are stored in:
`~/Library/Containers/com.arungupta.posturezone/Data/Library/Application Support/Posture Zone/`

Uninstalling the app preserves those files. To remove them, quit Zone, back up
anything you want to keep, then remove that folder. OS backups may retain copies.
There is no Zone cloud account to delete.

The beta download page uses no cookies, analytics, external fonts or tracking
scripts. Cloudflare delivers the page and downloads and processes requests under
its own privacy practices. Apple manages camera permission and OS security
checks under its own policies. This beta has not been notarized by Apple.

If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send. Camera
images and personal history are not needed for an initial report.
